South African Fine Art Landscape Photographer Mitchell Krog has had a passion for the natural world around him from a very young age. His affinity with nature consistently shines through in his photographic images and he has achieved

local and international acclaim
with his enduring and awe-inspring images. Mitchell has received a variety of commendations and awards in local and international photographic competitions and has quickly risen to become one of South Africa's top Landscape Photographers.
Mitchell's images appear regularly in numerous high profile local and international photographic magazines and he publishes his works on a variety of internet photography forums and online communities where he is a regularly featured contributing artist.
Mitchell is often approached
by photographic and lifestyle magazines as well as media outlets and web sites requesting articles and images. Mitchell has also had several South African artist's commission his works to be transformed into oil, water colour and sketches and he has licensed photos exclusively to major local and international advertising campaigns.
While he is a very diverse photographer,
his true passion shines through in his distinctive, captivating and timeless landscape and stormscape images and he is continually raising and surpassing his own very high standards.
Mitchell's second biggest love is his wildlife and bird (avian) photography. He often travels to all corners of South Africa and overseas to keep bringing new and exciting images to the photographic market-place. Mitchell's recognisable and disctinctive style brings across his outstandingly artistic and intimate interactions with nature.
Mitchell has a very strong background in environmental and conservation fields and has dedicated much of his life to this sector. This gives him a solid understanding and appreciation of the threatened ecosystems and environments which he so often has the priveledge to photograph. He has a firm belief that it is difficult to save what cannot be seen and has often used his images for motivating environmental causes.
